Just got back from Death Valley. The geology there is incredible. None of those ridiculous plants to get in the way and none of that silly water to mess with the minerals, except where it does, and then you get really neat minerals.
I wonder how many geologists have made wrong interpretations because they saw it in DV and thought the same thing was happening somewhere else.
